- Will there be a campus tour?
Absolutely! You’ll get a guided tour of the campus to find your classrooms, study spots, and key offices like the library, student services, and more.
- How do I get my student ID?
During orientation, we’ll help you get your official JWCC student ID. It’s quick, easy, and essential for accessing campus resources.
- What is the student portal, and how do I log in?
The student portal is your go-to for class schedules, grades, and important updates. We’ll walk you through the login process and show you how to navigate it.
- Is campus security covered during orientation?
Yes! You’ll meet our campus security team and learn about the safety measures in place to keep you and the campus community safe.
- What is Campus Care?
Campus Care includes an array of service resources to support your physical and mental well-being. We’ll introduce you to these services during orientation.

- Do I need to bring anything to orientation?
Just bring yourself, a positive attitude, and any questions you have! We’ll take care of the rest.
- How long does orientation last?
Orientation typically lasts a few hours, but we promise to keep it engaging and informative.
- Can I bring a family member or friend? Will there be a parent session?
Of course! We encourage you to bring someone along for support and to share in the experience. Yes! We will have parents sessions available.
